wow its been almost a year since i've updated this thing. anyway, this hurricane stuff is a mess. absolutely chaos in mobile with refugees. speaking of which, my dad, brother, cousin, and a few friends including some of my very best, lost their houses. my dad and the dog are currently living with me. they all thought they would have a home to go back to, but then..its just wiped out in a few hours. my dad has no clothes. my boyfriend's dad was generous and gave my dad some shorts and tshirts. we went to target tonight and bought him a pair of shoes, some underwear and socks. my brother, his wife(who also has cancer), and their 3 kids are living with my mom and her husband along with her husband's parents. its soooo stressful. i try my best to help them but im only one person. i'm gonna try to go to the thrift store here and find them some school uniforms and maybe a few clothes. not sure of their sizes though. i wish the cell phones would work. im so used to having a daily talk with my mom but i cant get a hold of her. ugghhh. this crap is so sad. im turning the tv off. anyway, i hope everyone is ok and your houses survived. be grateful if they did! its a horrible ordeal to lose everything, but at least we're all still alive. |

well..looks like its 5 AM and i'm still up. WHY?! i have no clue. its been like this for a while now. i actually bought some nyquil due to the fact that i have to work until 12 tonight and then go back in at 7:30 saturday morning. im going to need sleep and since my body doesnt want to sleep until about 5 or 6 AM, i decided im going to need to drug myself so i can sleep. someone define insomniac for me. ok thanksCurrent Mood:  aggravated Current Music: mama's family |

well, i had to drop my computer class. it was so gay. i'll just retake it this summer. i was planning on taking a class or two anyway.
i'm pretty sure i can do good on all my finals. they shouldnt be too bad. the only one that could possibly hurt me is psych. eh.
man..work, work, and more work. i can hang in there until after christmas. i actually had to request off so i could study for finals though. horrible. if only i didnt need money
there's really no point to this update. its just my way of procrastinating on studying for this psych final.
i hate those stupid "call now for a HOT girl commercials" definitely shouldnt be played on family channels.

so the surgery went ok, i didnt swell up really bad or die. i was only unconcious friday, saturday i was pretty alert, except when i decided to go to the grocery store and pass out, but hey it happens to the best of us. so here i am, back in mobile with my antibiotics and pain meds.
birthday was good. got a lot of good stuff. i <3 my friends and family. yay :)
slowly making progress on making the apartment look better. it'll happen eventually.
time to go clean/study/fall asleep trying to study.

All 4 wisdom teeth are coming out this friday. The day after my 19th birthday. *sigh* Knowing my luck, something's going to go wrong and I'm going to die at the age of 19.
So yeah..i'll be stayin at my mom's all weekend so she can spoil me/take care of me. yay.
This is going to be a good time to get some sleep and studying in.
My oral surgeon is nice looking. Pretty eyes, but he had pit stains. We might need to work on that before he operates.
I'm going to ask him to remove my nose also, because it is non-stop running.

my birthday is in 10 days. steph's is in 2 weeks and 5 days. my nephew's is in 3 weeks. so many november birthdays.
finally got a little raise at work. good stuff.
i have to go to class at 6, and then i'm determined to stay home tonight and clean my room and get re-organized. i desperately need it. i have to get back on track after that 40 hour week. i wish i was more like my roommate, she always has everything in order.

Word to the wise: do not wait until the day before your midterm to start studying.
It is now 4:13 AM, and I am still up and studying. If the essay wasn't worth 60 points, I would be asleep by now. But unfortunately, I probably wont sleep at all seeing as how I have an 8:00 class. Good thing i'm off tomorrow.
Note to self: never take an 8:00 class again.

i HATE school. i'm currently attempting to write a paper for English. it seems like i'm okay at it once i get going. but that's the hard part. i never know where to start. all my english-helpers went to sleep so i'm on my own. and it sucks. luckily i have another frappuccino. i've had 1 mocha cappuccino and now 2 frappuccino's today. does that give you just the slightest idea of how i'm forcing myself through the day? if i didnt need money, i'd have my hours at work cut. jay came over earlier to help me with pyschology, and we really didnt get anywhere due to him being tired and us trying to cram to much stuff in. so basically tomorrow after SCHOOL is going to be spent reading 4 chapters of pysch before i go to WORK. and when i get home from WORK at 10:00? oh yes, more studying. thursday after SCHOOL? studying for my history midterm, thursday after WORK? yep..more studying. AHHH. kill me, now.
